Component Blocks
The Components group contains blocks for modules and sensors. Each block adds the right library and setup code automatically. Blocks that need pins let you pick them in the block; others use the board's default pins, which you can see in the generated sketch.ino.
Libraries used
| Category | Library |
|---|---|
| Keypad & Remote | Built-in keypad scanner, IRremote |
| Sensors | DHT sensor library, HX711, RTClib, Adafruit MPU6050, DallasTemperature with OneWire, Adafruit BME280 or BMP280 |
| Relay & Motor | Built-in helpers for relays, A4988 steppers and L298N motors; Stepper for the 28BYJ-48 |
| Bluetooth & GPS | SoftwareSerial (HardwareSerial on ESP32) and TinyGPSPlus |
| RFID & SD Card | MFRC522 and SD |
| LCD I2C | LiquidCrystal I2C (address 0x27) |
| OLED | Adafruit SSD1306 and Adafruit GFX (address 0x3C) |
| Number Display | TM1637 and LedControl (MAX7219) |
| NeoPixel | Adafruit NeoPixel |
Patterns
- Read once, use many times. Blocks such as read 4x4 keypad, read IR remote and if Bluetooth receives a message read the device once; use last keypad key, last IR remote code or Bluetooth message afterwards.
- Draw, then show. OLED drawing blocks work in memory; the screen changes when OLED show runs. The same applies to NeoPixel show.
- Set the size first. Put LCD I2C size in starts when you use a 20x4 display.
