STM32 Blue Pill
The Blue Pill is a small, inexpensive board with an STM32F103C8: an ARM Cortex-M3 at 72 MHz with 3.3 V logic. Circzy compiles it with the official STM32duino 2.12.0 core and simulates it with its built-in Cortex-M3 emulator.

Pins
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Pin names | Port names such as PA0, PB12 and PC13 |
| Analog inputs | PA0–PA7, PB0 and PB1. analogRead() returns 0–1023 by default. |
| I²C | PB7 (SDA) and PB6 (SCL) |
| SPI | PA5 (SCK), PA6 (MISO), PA7 (MOSI) and PA4 (SS) |
| Serial Monitor | Serial on USART1: PA9 (TX) and PA10 (RX) |
| Built-in LED | PC13, lit when the pin is LOW |
Timers
Timers are assigned as on the real board:
| Library or function | Timer | Pins |
|---|---|---|
| Servo | TIM2 | PA0–PA3 |
tone() | TIM3 | PA6, PA7, PB0, PB1 |
| SoftwareSerial, IRremote | TIM4 | PB6–PB9 |
Avoid analogWrite() on pins of a timer that one of these libraries is already using.
Default pins used by blocks
Notes
- Modules such as the HC-05 can use
Serial(PA9/PA10) or any pins through SoftwareSerial. - Programs with
delay()run lightly; programs that loop without pausing can run slightly slower than real time.
