Circzy Certification
Circzy Certification is a microcontroller skills exam run directly by the Circzy platform, with no trainer. The exam has theory questions and practical tasks done in the simulator, graded automatically by the system. Anyone can check that an issued certificate is genuine.
Certification opens at certification.circzy.com and uses the same Google account as Circzy.
Tracks
| Code | Name | For | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| CMF | Circzy Microcontroller Fundamentals | Beginners: Arduino basics, digital, analog, PWM, Serial | Open |
| CJB | Circzy Junior Builder | Elementary, middle, and high school students | Coming soon |
| CIE | Circzy IoT Engineer | Sensors, communication, and IoT; requires CMF | Coming soon |
| CEP | Circzy Embedded Professional | Advanced embedded systems; requires CIE | Coming soon |
Only CMF is open right now. Other tracks are announced on the certification home page when they open.
Duration, passing score, theory and practical weights, and validity for each track are shown on the track page. Some tracks are valid for a number of years and some for life.
Exam flow
- Buy a voucher on the track page. One voucher includes several exam attempts (2 by default) with a waiting period before a retake. Promo codes and referral codes can be used at checkout.
- Complete your identity on the identity page (linked from the certification home and track pages): full name as on your ID, ID number, a photo of your ID card or student card, and a selfie holding the card. The student track (CJB, once open) does not require this step.
- Start the official exam. The timer starts and one attempt is used. Answers are saved automatically.
- Answer the theory questions: single choice, multiple choice, or ordering.
- Do the practical tasks: click Work in the simulator, build the circuit and write the code as instructed, then run the simulation to try it. Each participant gets a different variation, such as a different pin number.
- Submit. The exam is also submitted automatically when time runs out. The system compiles your program and runs it against a test scenario, usually in under a minute.
- See the result: theory score, practical score, and the list of practical checks that passed or failed.
Exam rules
- Do the exam on your own. Switching tabs or windows is recorded by the system.
- Suspicious exams, for example leaving the page too often, finishing too fast, or code identical to another participant, are reviewed by an admin and may be voided.
- If you do not pass, you can retake after the waiting period as long as the voucher has attempts left.
Certificates
- Participants who pass get a certificate number, for example
CZ-CMF-2610-AB12CD. - The certificate is issued after an admin verifies your identity. The name on the certificate follows the verified name.
- On the certificate page you can download or print a PDF, add it to LinkedIn, and choose whether your score is shown on the verification page.
- An expired certificate can be renewed by taking the exam again.
Verifying a certificate
Scan the QR code on the certificate or open certification.circzy.com/#/v/NUMBER. The verification page shows the name, track, issue date, validity, and status (valid, expired, or revoked). It can be opened without signing in.
Vouchers for schools and companies
When you buy more than one voucher, you get a list of voucher codes under Vouchers. Share the codes with students or employees; they redeem them on the track page. The code list can be downloaded as CSV.
